A 10-shot burst still should be the behavior with the timer (just tested on iOS 18.6.2)... but make sure that Live Photo mode is disabled (near the top right), or it will save as a single Live Photo instead.

Ow. Can't do everything a stanley might be able to... but maybe try a slice next time before self-slicing? Hope the leg wasn't as bloody!

Nail polish drying rack. Apply polish to nails, secure affected extremities to rack, wait for energy-efficient air drying. Pretty sure that's what it is, anyway…
