We keep yelling about the male loneliness crisis and focusing on everything except the harms the system itself is causing. If teen boys don't get mirrors for masculinity, and other kids don't get windows and sliding glass doors, then we're doing kids of all gender identities a major disservice.

Some of mine read down to revisit old favorites. Seems fine, said the middle aged librarian with a shelf full of comfort rereads. And yet…

It’s so frustrating bc it can be a struggle to keep 8th grade boys reading. But if they aren’t being written for, how can you blame them?

My husband and I were blessed with a great realtor the first time we bought a house. She specialized in first time home buyers and warned us that we would be approved for far more than we could afford, and that we should ignore that and stick to our budget.
