And yet it was still brilliant! I still have fond memories of the Marvel UK weekly anthologies with Death’s Head stories, etc; and there was a licensed DC one (London Editions Magazines?) called ‘Heroes’ (IIRC) which had stuff like Blue Devil in it. I also remember a Spider-Man weekly which was 10p!

No. It’s an ever-present problem which only rarely gets media attention when something truly atrocious happens (e.g Sarah Everard). It’s a constant for women; an afterthought for men.
