#TheThingWithFeathers is an astounding look at what it means to live with grief. Cumberbatch again proves himself as one of the UKs greatest actors in this adaptation of Max Porters 2015 novel which has been embued with a suitably erratic vibe. Truly one of this years best films.

Cinema, and the cinematic experience, simply wouldn't be what it is today with Drew Struzan. To call him a master of his craft still somehow falls short of how gorgeous his art is. The recent resurgance in, and appreciation of, the Struzan style and has been beyond well deserved.

Diane Keaton was an icon - an honest to God movie star. I never tired of seeing her. She radiated fashion and charm both on and off the screen. We lose legends every year but to achieve that status as young as she did and to keep it is a talent. 79 still feels too young.
