LAPD Media Relations had all kinds of shit to say about different people who allegedly saw a knife “brandished” by the person LAPD shot but nothing in response to:
- How many officers fired?
- How far away was the person when they shot him?
- What was his race?

The first question out of media’s mouth is whether officers were injured. The answer is no.
The last time an officer died from a shooting on duty was 2008. Every on duty death since then was a car or motorcycle accident. But the media loves leading with this.
