Collecting data in another country came with a slew of unanticipated challenges. In this paper to be presented at this year’s @FAccTConference we discuss these. Led and by the amazing @ankolikawrites, she, @drjessmaddox, and I discuss challenges faced across multiple studies!

Hollering across our offices to each other like we’re 1970s corporate girlies had only about 50% to do with this. Thank you @jessmaddox.bsky.social!! And remember the same about you too!
Happy tenure @shaheenk.bsky.social!!! So proud of my best friend and her amazing accomplishments. She’s an incredible person and scholar, and I’m so proud of her journey. Nolite te bastardes carborundorum - ever. You and your record shine.
