For years I’ve led the effort to put in place the ACA enhanced premium tax credits.
No one in the Senate wants to extend these more than me. This deal is our best path to get that done.

Despite overwhelmingly positive feedback, the Trump Administration is axing a tool that allowed Americans to file their taxes for free. It's disappointing to see the administration prioritize private interests over helping Americans save time and money filing their taxes.

Extending ACA enhanced premium tax credits is one of the most immediate and effective ways to address the cost-of-living crisis that is making it harder and harder for working families to make ends meet. We cannot allow 4 million people to lose their health care.

With open enrollment beginning tomorrow, I went to Greater Seacoast Community Health to speak with Granite Staters who will be impacted by soaring health insurance premiums. I’m going to keep doing everything I can to prevent millions from losing their health coverage.

If Republicans don't work with us to extend ACA enhanced premium tax credits, Granite Staters are going to be forced to pay skyrocketing premiums or forgo coverage altogether. These are the kinds of price hikes that folks are seeing on the Marketplace ⬇

The President doesn't have the authority to unilaterally hike tariff taxes on Americans. I proudly joined my Senate colleagues to vote to repeal the so-called ‘national emergency’ that President Trump has used to justify tariffs that increase prices for families and businesses alike.
