Toyota has been developing driverless cars for no fewer than 10 years. They have no driverless cars on public roads as of this post because they are not yet reliable enough. Smart and ethical engineers will not subject the public to dangerous, unpredictable machines.

We can barely get computers to understand what objects are. The computer is being fed an image made of pixels and that's all it knows. We have to paint pictures of objects in the image, in every different orientation, so it can begin to recognize patterns of pixels as the target object. Wut's a cat?

I hate this for you. I hope she recovers quickly and doesn't rebound again. It's refreshing to see people take it seriously and try so hard to keep from spreading the infection. So often I feel completely surrounded by people who don't care or think it's not a big deal. Thanks for caring. Ur a rl 1.
