Honestly YouTube's algo has been pretty good for me the last few years since they started promoting small channels again.
The only problem is sometimes it doesn't give me enough variety if I ever got down a deep hole of looking into something specific

To be fair a hell of a lot of them are showing up as "Eastern Europe (non EU)" which narrows it down pretty quickly.

This image always annoyed me because it is very clearly not true. Long bed models existed in the past, but most sold were closer to the 50% mark. (Google images is free)

Immediately blaming the DNC is a bigger red flag than the tattoo TBH.
If he felt bad and was embarrassed about it and never had the opportunity to get it covered up I'd expect more of a "Allow me to prove myself" type stuff.
