Northeast Bronze Lake in Upper La Noscea is the more familiar region. The eponymous camp, with its healing springs, is a relaxing retreat for the injured, after all. The naturally heated and mineral-rich springs also exist beneath the lake water, nurturing microorganisms to keep the fish well-fed!

The Mourning Widow is an ominous name for this cave in Lower La Noscea, especially when it simply serves as a home for toads! The dwarf catfish hiding in the mud, however, defends itself by rubbing its fins together to make a racket. Grr, that sound echoing from the cave explains the name perfectly.

Limsa Lominsa's lower decks, home to the Fisherman's Guild and the home port of many a grrusome pirate. Even here, though, nature thrives. The robust kelp forests are home to as much life as the tree-filled sort we're used to on land. And what sailor's tale is complete without a giant octopus?

Just outside the bustling streets of Ul'dah, Crescent Cove of Western Thanalan is a fishing village still suffering from the effects of the calamity. If only they realized how incredible the lobsters in these waters are! They navigate the ocean by following magnetic leylines, like a compass.

Oakwood is a charming little enclave in Upper La Noscea. While the more bestial coeurl lurks in the more remote parts of this region, this pond is home to a fish with fangs so equally vicious those big cats have decided to share their name! They surely need them to defend against these giant crabs.

It was kind of someone to leave this stool here by the Central Coerthas Exploratory Ice Hole. It is fascinating to see the bio-luminescent moss beneath the ice, a phenomenon sometimes called "dragon's gold." Not something to say too loudly here, where it might summon armed guards to appear!

Not far from those La Noscean jungles, a settlement of adventurers has been created! I can see why someone would choose to live here amongst the palm trees and sandy beaches! Several octopods also call it their home, coming out at night for a delicious dinner. Maybe I'll try a few sardines myself?

The Red Mantis Falls of Eastern La Noscea are a stunning sight to see. The water was strong enough to carve out this natural bridge I'm standing on, but the pool has enough rocky nooks and crannies that catfish are able to grow to incredible sizes! But what's that sparkling in the water? Goldfish?

My journey today brings me to the Ship Graveyard of Western La Noscea. The food chain is alive and well in these waters, teeming as it is with sharks and giant squid! The apex predator here has approximately 300 teeth, plenty to encourage me to stay firmly ashore.
