I used a giant laser engraver at the local college, and put masking boards on the edges, since it was already glued together. Then I inlaid the honeycomb with pigmented opal and fragments of Trex fossil (just 'cause 😄), and used different colors of glow powder in between, using ultrathin CA glue.
