This is not a Democratic shutdown, it is a Government shutdown. The GOP is in charge of all three branches to include SCOTUS. If it didn’t hurt millions of citizens, they would have enough votes to pass it. They need to stop these CRs and get back to balancing the budget.

Agreed, times change. The other prong to having term limits is to do away with special interest groups and lobbyists. Those two together helps ensure that those elected will serve their constituents.
