I have been a teacher since 2005 and definitely go through waves of burnout with it. BUT I'm so angry about *all this* that I'm diving in again. My free teen class starts 4/15 and is full. My paid adult class is listed below, info link in comments. I'm working on a free monthly makers meetup too...

This seems healthy #MathSucks I swear I have nothing to do with passing along math trauma - I tried enrolling L in standard 6th grade math but his teacher said NOPE and put him in advanced. Sorry babe I tried.

Been taking a bit of a mental health break, went to see Rhys Darby's stand up show with fellow pirates and it was GLORIOUS. Rounding it out with three Monty Pythons and a Great British Baking Show. Lux is hyperventilating with laughter.

Taking a quick break from organizing the week / finding ways to be ungovernable to share this curséd book with you all. It smells so strongly of the basement it was hiding in, and the interior illustrations were terrifying. Did not purchase but might have to go back.

My favorite colorway! This one is called Over Sea, Under Stone and pictured are the IONA label raglan dress, the linen jacket and the cotton/linen pants. These are my best sellers and the first in line to become sewing patterns 💙

Really liking how this color came out! This is my down season -no markets till April - so here's to constant low-key panic about *all this* and the attempt to spur creativity. As a list person, I struggle with the more nebulous side of being an artist - trying to remember to PLAY.
