oh wow. I ended up getting the ultima staff just because its the one i dont have for mainhand and have a decent horde of staff characters

But i solved my flat back issue by finally internalizing that the slight outward angle of shoulder blades is massively important even if most of it gets covered by muscle and fat.
That outward edge being flat or inward causes a whole host of issues

it's been fine for me. ive been getting the weapons i dont have yet. I will need animas to uncap them later but it will save so much time to ONLY need them.
