I love the Dev_Directs, and hope that this format is here to stay. I personally enjoy seeing BTS and having the human element of hearing from the developers their passion for their games. This was the best one yet, much kudos to you and your team on the amazing job putting this all together!

I think this is as good as it gets with their format and felt like there were improvements for the awards. The jokes were pretty good especially the self-aware ones. Some trailers were too long and not too many that spoke out to me besides Capcom, Intergalactic, and The Outer Worlds 2. Rating: B-

There’s a couple of cloud games that I’ve encountered that have native touch controls with As Dusk Falls and A Little to the Left. I played them on the phone and it nearly felt like playing a native mobile game and especially the latter game was a better experience than on controller.

Thank you, been waiting for this for a long time. 50 games was less than expected, but glad that I can play Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters on the go now! I might pick up Animal Well and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake because of this feature.

If a game requires me to own another game and not only that, need to meet certain requirements in order to play it, it should not be eligible for GOTY. It really should be its own category, especially since there’s no shortage of new DLC/expansions each year.

I don’t know why there isn’t one. It’s not like there’s a lack of DLC/expansions each year.

Agreed. It’s a joke of an awards show, but it is an amazing E3 show… developers/creatives deserve better recognition. Could TGA improve this year in that regard? Possibly, but I seriously doubt it.
