And Zippy got a Miss Lola Plushie approved upgrade to having a cupholder. It folds back when not in use. I got tired of always asking the very patient CSRs at various restaurants and cafés to carry my stuff to a table for me.

Stopped at Red's Bakery for coffee and a snack. Does the peppermint Nanaimo bar have wheat in it? Probably. Do I care? That's future Lorna's problem.

The Vancouver Island bunnies are originally from a meat farm that went bankrupt in the 70s and the owner just .. let the bunnies go. They've made it pretty far north on the island with little fear of humans. I was very close to them and they kept eating clover.

Because I didn't THINK of doing small bits of art for Christmas til yesterday for fam, I didn't discover until yesterday evening that my new inking pen is water-soluble. A problem with water colours!

So, they got turned into digital art. 🙂

Port Theatre in Nanaimo is a bit more ambiguous, but the text still makes it fairly clear when the wheelchair seating.

This is the map for the local @galaxycinema.bsky.social and Hullo ferries. As you can see, each seat gets a wheelchair symbol to show 'Wheelchair can go here'

There are four wheelchair symbols. What THEY mean is that the whole row is wheelchair accessible.

However, this ISN'T the standard I'm used to.

Facebook friends said to check my email for presales. (Squee!) I went to the @realticketmaster.bsky.social site and got this map of @rogersarena.bsky.social To me, this looked like there were a grand total of four wheelchair seats, and they were sold out.

I may have had a very bad reaction.

As a wise person once said, the machine revolution will probably start with printers and we will be f'd.

I got my current laser jet something like 14 years ago, and it and I have disagreements. It takes unscheduled vacations, typically when it smells desperation.

You can def see the Looney Tunes influence on the snout 😃

The hard part is resisting fixing all the errors. It ended up on the pile of art I wanna fix and finish.

A mom on a local group posted that her 8 y.o. is having a bday party and all his friends have bailed on him (illness, etc) do any of the moms with kids that age group wanna come round for pizza, cake, and Disney movies they've seen 500 times already.
