"give preference to
communities with marriage and birth rates higher than the national average"

Sounds targeted to preference conservative full quiver Christian communities with low divorce rates, over just about any other community out there.

Correlation and causation are not the same thing. Just because highway construction and congestion occur at the same time does not prove causation. Our transportation, including public transit, infrastructure has been massively underfunded for half a century.

Two main reasons:

1) The series did not align closely enough with the head canon Star Wars fanboys dreamed up over the last 50 years.

2) The anti-woke crusade that attacks anything it plausibly can, like an African-American woman being the central bad guy because (whatever excuse comes to mind).

Just be happy all six girls seem happy and can do what they obviously love doing. We do not know the details of the new contract, but hopefully it gives Idle the security they deserve and even more freedom than they had before. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for all six of them.

Many fans are shocked by the renewal and express feelings of betrayal, some even say they will no longer be fans. Soojin rejoining Idle is a wonderful fantasy, but her own contract probably prevents that, much less Korean public opinion. Maybe someday all six will be able to interact freely again.

Other K-Pop companies rarely give that to male artists, and almost never female artists. Given their success & leverage, Soyeon and the girls probably got a far better deal at CUBE than any other company would give them, other than starting their own company with a wealthy benefactor backing them.

Their 7-year contracts are expiring and many fans assumed they would not renew with their company CUBE for a variety of reasons. Myself, I always thought they would probably renew. CUBE has many faults and made a lot of mistakes over the years, but they have given (G)I-DLE rare artistic control.
