Random fact about me: I’m the type of person that no matter what is going on in my life, I’m always gonna try to be uplifting to others. Are they the type of people who are typically out of my league? 99% yes. But that’s not going to stop me from complimenting someone & hopefully making them smile.
Just a few highlights from an amazing weekend. Spent more time at the con than originally planned (was supposed to be a mostly Disney weekend but… 🤷🏻♂️). Still had a fucking awesome time.

Well Orlando, it’s been fun. But sadly it’s time to start making my way back home and return to the boring and mundane on Wednesday morning.

This weekend did NOT go as planned. BUT for once that’s not meant in a negative tone. Had more fun than expected doing the thing that I had originally planned to NOT spent much time at. Overall this weekend was amazing and I’m sad that it’s almost over. Heading back home tomorrow night.

Guess it’s not a true train experience without a delayed train. Was supposed to depart at 12:35 now it’s been pushed to 12:53. Oh well. Still cheaper than flying and roughly the same timeframe as me driving (and the ticket was basically what I’d be paying in gas).

I am so beyond stressed at the moment. Every time I take a moment to mentally organize what’s going on something else gets thrown into the mix & it undoes the small bit of calm I managed to find. I hate feeling like I’m being pulled 4 different ways & feeling guilty for not being able to do it all.

Ticket booked for my first ever train trip for next week. Normally I’d make that drive but I doubt my little car would be able to make it this time. Plus the cost of the ticket roughly equates to what I would’ve paid in gas. Only downside is the departure/arrival times to and from my “home” station.

I’m 0 for 2 with sayings when it comes to this weekend:
-confidence is sexy
-you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.. well I had two shots & blew them both due to fear and nerves…
Saw a really gorgeous guy two days in a row during Pride but couldn’t work up the nerve to even say hi 😞

It may have been raining and windy which made it cold as fuck, but Charleston Pride festival ended spectacularly with the appearance of a rainbow (actually a double rainbow) as we were wrapping up the festivities. I’m cold and wet but it was a fantastic time!

Made it to the hotel after some traffic delays. Pride weekend plans may alter a bit thanks to the rain. But we’ll just see. This is a nice room so if I’m stuck in it the entire weekend it wouldn’t be a problem! 🤣🤣
