#GardensHour reuse/sustain: the catnip plants have been cut back and seeds dried and saved for next Spring. Luckily Miss Katy’s still finding a few tender leaves to chew on.

#GardensHour on the topic of sustain and reuse, I put the leaves of my Japanese Maple and Staghorn Sumac trees in the flower beds over winter but it’s tricky picking out the leaves of the neighbour’s black walnut tree that are all over my yard (as I’ve heard they’re not great for surrounding plants)
