Props if Love does it but he's behind the 23rd rated offensive line (when Tom is healthy). We see it in the few yds before contact for Jacobs, and the many flags, and endless Love fadeaways under constant pressure. If they can only afford to fix one thing next year, it has to be that O line.

It ends their 2025 Superbowl run, and somewhat limits expectations for them next year to being a borderline wild card with Kraft, Parsons, and Wyatt likely not playing until mid-October. Their offensive line was already a big 2026 offseason question mark, and now throw CBs in with that. It's grim.

The 2025 and 2026 Packers disintegrated in front of our eyes today. As good as Love has been for 4-game bursts in his career, he needs to work on his mechanics this summer. Bad mechanics not enough vs top defenses. His GM also needs to rebuild trenches around 50 & 1 over the next couple years.

Definitely going to be a lot of evaluating happening. If the other teams all have major injuries, maybe they can still steal games, but I don't want to wish today's injuries on any team. Not a great cap or draft picks offseason for GB to need to suddenly patch up 9 or 10 underperforming/hurt spots.
December 15, 2025 at 1:11 AM
There's always a chance all the other contenders will take equivalent injuries, but GB's priority for me right now is to get Love to next season healthy, following these injuries
That's it. Anything else is extra.
December 15, 2025 at 1:07 AM
If any team as thin in the trenches lost what GB just lost, we'd all be rating them quite poorly in terms of what is left. It's not 2010. We still had Jennings drawing attention out there to open everything up, and Matthews terrorizing QBs. GB just lost those 2 things.
December 15, 2025 at 12:04 AM
Basically ends their season for all intents and purposes. Without those guys, and Kraft already out, they'll flame out in their first playoff matchup.

Hard to do when CHI literally grabs your neck like a choke. Hope that bitch enjoys giving his game check to the league office donation drives this week.
December 7, 2025 at 10:31 PM
When you have a chance to take the ball out of your best remaining offensive player's hands in the form of 10, apparently you just have to do it.
November 23, 2025 at 8:14 PM
Clearly!
November 16, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Or not. Wow.
November 16, 2025 at 8:58 PM
Nothing. The Packers defense has been getting gashed and has already dropped 4 interceptable balls thrown their way today.
November 16, 2025 at 8:54 PM
If it's not something weird behind the scenes, the only on field observable issues with Love are some indecisiveness and a habit of lofting the deep ball too high, allowing DBs to make up all the ground (hence no YAC after long down field air yards passes, ever).
November 16, 2025 at 6:53 PM
Agreed. All I mean is Doubs will be a tougher replacement via later rounds.
November 16, 2025 at 6:49 PM
They were going to draft a WR regardless, just to keep the churn going. A shame it has to be a valuable 2nd or 3rd that they desperately need to use to start the O line rebuild project.
November 16, 2025 at 6:28 PM
Average players beget average results. The juggling offensive line project and the draft WRs who run block project, not to mention the make your journeyman KR your CB1 project, are all in free fall.
November 16, 2025 at 6:24 PM
This mess now has me wondering what power struggles, mismanagement, and lack of leadership are happening in that organization at large. What an absolute farce. Even if the player lied this whole time, that would still reflect poorly on the team. We are 1 loss away from a dreaded players-only mtg.
November 15, 2025 at 8:15 PM
GB is screwed with its 4/5 strike outs on the offensive line + incoming cap limitations. That line is a multi-year recovery project *if it goes well*, but Packers have to avoid Gutey's bad moves that caused this in the first place. People will be shocked at how bad it will be in GB through 2027.
November 12, 2025 at 6:22 PM
They need to win 6 more total just to maybe tie for the division. Ain't happening. Gutey is going to lose his job and MLF too. Will be interesting to see if Parsons demands a trade in the off-season, but he has to be beyond pissed to have gone from one pretender to another.
November 11, 2025 at 3:54 PM
Agreed on all counts, but the offensive line and its future still give me a great deal of doubt about the ceiling for this organization the next few years. I'd feel better if draft and develop still felt like an inarguable strength of the org, but there is cause for doubt on that front.
November 11, 2025 at 5:52 AM
Yep. It all starts up front. Problem is, GB is facing a multi-year offensive line recovery project. Morgan isn't going to be LT because he would have beat Walker already if he could. Belton, have to hope we get a Guard. So we need Center, LT, and a 6th man utility guy next year just to field a team.
November 11, 2025 at 4:59 AM
The problem is they are not elite WRs, relative to the best guys in the league. They are average to good for the NFL, but not great. That's it. PHI has Smith and Brown who are both a tier above, even though Brown was little more than a decoy all night and is starting to fall off a bit.
November 11, 2025 at 4:49 AM
With their cap and loss of two first rounders and the failure of draft and develop at large, this year was their title window. They won't tear this thing down to the studs until 2027 offseason, though. They will blame this year on injuries and bad free agency moves.
November 11, 2025 at 3:50 AM
LaFleur has guys open on these calls, the players are just not sharp enough. The shortest way I could say it is PHI has A tier players and, other than Parsons, GB has B tier players.
November 11, 2025 at 3:40 AM
They are going to need their picks to rebuild their offensive line the next few years. Morgan and Belton still have a chance, but they are going to need at least a Center and new backup swing player who can come in for an injury to the main 5. Parsons deal means 2 years of a lower influx of players.
