Here to lurk and cheer on artists. They/them, 18+
I'm in Michigan, and found this little dude in my office a couple months back. I see them fairly often in the summer here, but I'm not sure what their range is

One of the things I love about the Dragon Age games is that the world's various religions are portrayed as important social and political forces that have shaped how many characters interact with the world. And (in the first two games, at least) no religion was definitively true

Yeah, I had the same read. And Gaiman is (was?) a showrunner for the tv adaptation. The public faces for the graphic novel adaptation have been the Terry Pratchett estate for merch and distribution, and Colleen Doran doing most of the work on the book itself. Less direct involvement from Gaiman fwiw

This part is baffling. Mary Shelley and Jane Webb wrote early sci-fi novels without the concept of apocalypse. H. G. Well touches on civilization collapsing in The Time Traveler and War of the Worlds. But the biblical idea of the apocalypse is extremely different from the sci-fi version

Oh man, if this is true, then Neve Gallus's silly little hat has so many lore implications! The rabbit hole keeps going down

I grew up with barn cats, and we only had a couple that stuck around for more than a year or two. My current cat became an indoor cat after he lost his leg to a neighbor's trap, and he's been going strong for 11 years since then

The indoors are safer for cats!

Oh hey, I bought this book a few weeks ago. Glad to know the royalties got to you!

Your book is super rad. I loved the push and pull of the characters feeling hopeless in a system endlessly stacked against them, and characters feeling empowered knowing they have nothing left to lose. Loved it!

I nearly bounced off the first episode, really did not have fun with it, but then was surprised at how much I liked the next three episodes, and ended up glad that I pushed through

But also, it might not be for you and that's fine!

I read the book years ago, and I still get shivers thinking about some of its scenes
