Turns out he didn't. It's a single panel from a 1980s strip that Charles did that has been repurposed. It took me a minute, but I found it.

Shadow is an online avatar from my earlier days riding a Honda Shadow. Later I found the comic, featuring a saxophonist who transforms at night to protect the world against spirits, demons, and darkness and I thought it meshed well with my aspirations. 😎
