This weekend I finished the first draft of one of the chapters on my To Do list (it ended up being over 17k words, which is wild). Buuuuut I've also just taught myself a new crochet technique so even though I have a self imposed deadline the 2nd draft will have to wait a little bit 😬
My writing goal for 2024 was to finish the 3 chaptered stories I had going on in 2023. I didn't quite do that, but I did complete 1 of the stories (part of a series I'd been writing for 4 years) & I posted just under 148k words including a 5k short story. In 2025 I'll finish those remaining stories!

I started crocheting xmas presents in September yet somehow here I am days away from xmas and I still have three presents to finish. The crafting burnout is so real right now, I'm not going to even want to see the word "yarn" for a few weeks after this 😅

That oddly specific moment when you start writing the next chapter of a story you haven't worked on in several months and you suddenly realize you forgot what hairstyles you gave the characters so you have to go back to reread the previous chapters for reference before you can start writing again

Current status: writing all my story scenes in my mind because my hands are too busy trying to finish making presents in time for Christmas to write the scenes down yet 😅

I opened up the story I'm working on to add a very specific line into it that I thought would be good only to find that I had already added that line yesterday and forgotten about it already (just in case you were wondering about the state of my attention span lately)

I hope that when the rest of kpop twtr moves over here we can get video memes going again. Like, the "crazy for myself" edits are still some of the funniest things I've ever seen, we need more of that in these depressing times

I can't decide if it's worth making posts for my fics on here 🤔 on the one hand it would help people who wanted to share/talk about the stories but on the other hand being perceived unsettles me so... 🫣

I was given a BT21 mystery bag today as an early xmas present and ended up with an RJ keychain to go with the RJ mylar balloon I have! Feeling very lucky right now ^_^

After 2 weeks of non-stop work and social obligations I finally have a free evening to write some nice angsty slow burn fiction 😌 looking forward to healing my introvert burnout one gay yearning scene at a time 🌈

I miss the social media posting enthusiasm I had in 2019, my comfort level with sharing my life and interests online in recent years has diminished to pretty much nothing which is a shame cos I have so much to talk about and so few people to talk to offline 😅

Assuming all fanfiction is written poorly really just shows you've never been caught in the chokehold of a 150k slowburn that changed the course of your life at 2:40am written by someone whose username has 4 Zs in it and they only wrote one fic and then vanished like an ethereal legend.

Just finished making a xmas present for a friend and was very proud of how it turned out and then I found out they don't want any presents this year 😅 the present is something with a practical use, so maybe it's okay...? 🫣
