The world overwhelming, I decided on some self-care tonight. Big mug of tea in a mug from Angie, homemade chocolate chip cookies, and diving in to write some cyberpunk. *cracks knuckles* Let's go.

Two ridiculously tasty chocolate chip cookies sit in front of a monitor next to a giant mug of tea. The mug is blue and has a crescent moon and stars and says "Love you to the moon and back." The monitor has the end of a chapter from Neon Spires on it. It reads: Right. Like she was ever that lucky. Her eyes flicked from the other woman to the lot, then back up to meet those intense green eyes. Sunshine seemed to hear the sound almost at the same time Pixx did. Like a wary predator, her body tensed with a coiled up energy. Her eyes narrowed and her lip pulled back from her teeth in a little snarl, exposing upper and lower canines that were just a little too sharp and a little too long to be strictly human. Then, suddenly, the whole world exploded into gunfire.
