Another day, another delivery... almost got everything I need to build my next Premium MOC and ensure that it's ready for publication. Also I think I have most, if not all, of the pieces now to build Mobile City Car Wash Playset (rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-186...) woot!

I love the new #Blacktron Renegade set (10355) that re-imagines the older set (6954), but it has bits that I feel didn't translate very well. So I've decided to upgrade mine starting with the sensor array module. Using the new style, I've updated mine to match the old design!

I love the new #Blacktron Renegade set (10355) that re-imagines the older set (6954), but it has bits that I feel didn't translate very well. So I've decided to upgrade mine starting with the sensor array module. Using the new style, I've updated mine to match the old design!

I also received #LEGO set 10355 (Blacktron Renegade) which is the update to 6954 and it's MUCH better done. The only missing detail is the yellow hoses on the wings; everything else is a wonderful reimagining.

Got my #LEGO set 40580 (Blacktron Cruiser) in today, and gotta say, it's not nearly as nice as the original 6894 :(
It has some nice updates but it also has some changes that feel like moves backward. I especially miss the hex shaped body and transparent fins, but I like the new cockpit and tail.
