Perhaps more accurately, I should have said “AND I am monitoring…” instead of “but”.

I want to know what to expect, if possible. THAT’S what I’m monitoring, for the most part. I want to be ready (I live in a small area of Upstate New York and don’t expect anything from the military or even police, tbh. Local MAGATs might be a different story) and warn my family of my plans.

By changing your registration, you’re complying in advance with the regime and giving it exactly what it wants. Refusing to change registration seems to be the easiest and simplest form of resistance imaginable. If we as a society are not willing or capable of doing that, then the game’s truly up.

I have been a Democrat since I registered at 18. My close family have historically been Democrats. I was a Democratic committee member locally. I’ll be voting Democratic as long as that option is available to me, and likely not vote if it isn’t. I will be damned if these pieces of 💩 change that.

I plan to go locally, but I’m monitoring the situation.
