I post my mini painting, WIPs, older projects, etc. US painter, mostly into DnD, RuneQuest, Pathfinder & other RPGs. Returning to painting after a hobby hibernation of ~25 years. I support full inclusion. He/him
Last weekend, my gaming group used the Ten Candles mechanic for a Delta Green scenario. Instead of die rolling to resolve stuff, we had to pull 1-3 jenga pieces successfully. We also had the option to snuff candles/burn a Brink, Vice, etc. No more candles or cards to burn? Game over! It was awesome!

I just played this for friends last weekend! They were as blown away as I’d hoped….

Runequest has come up with some HP solutions that don’t create the problems you cite. That said, it is not dyscalculia-friendly. It is a little more detailed a la hit locations, which have in-game consequences, yet still avoids the “simulation” problem. (Think DnD 3.5 v 5e.) Thoughts?

Many thanks!

Thank you! That means a lot especially considering your own works!

They really are the greatest of monsters. Weaving a storyline in with #illithids (or #mindflayers) is just awesome. Horrifying little dudes. Where did you get this one? Found some great ones from Archvillain Games you can get from #myminifaftory #onlygames and I’m always looking for good sculpts.

You see pictured here a #Valkyrie from #TheChoice from #Scale75 (from before their shenanigans were known), a water #wizard from #WizKids, a #bullywug, and #abominations from the #HeroQuest board game which includes a #WIP.

Try #MakerWorld. The designs are all for #filament or #fdm #printers and so they tend to have the right balance of details. There are a few decent looking ones that may suit your needs. makerworld.com/en/search/mo...

Two other decent sites to check are thingiverse and thangs. Good luck!

Many thanks! It’s a black light flashlight. My buddy wanted the spell effect and potion to glow, so I incorporated some fluorescents.

That’s super cool, I love seeing how people do the same mini. I painted this for a friend and painted it with the colors, skin tones, eye makeup, etc that he wanted. Didn’t quite get the shading right in the back in hindsight, but live and learn and he liked it.

In my xp, the standard that the community of people with disabilities uses is to try and provide the same information and experiences that a sighted person would. So I go into as much detail as I reasonably can. Also because painters tend to obsess about paint, I include that info too. Two for one!

It seems that people sometimes fail to realize laws are merely paint on the road…as long as we all follow it, we are all fine. But being just paint on the road, anyone can do anything they want and boom we got a demolition derby. Without enforcement, people can do whatever they like, legal or not.
