How do the Sounders compare (in terms of strength/quality) to a team like Bodø/Glimt? Trying to understand how improbable this scoreline is.

The team doesn’t have much room to really sign an impact player anywhere. To make anything happen you gotta move a DP/TAM guy. I don’t see either of those things happening. And I don’t know you get better value anywhere in the league for Georgi’s money.

I think this is a big reason for the calendar which. FOX was never going to broadcast this game in primetime instead of CFB games.

Losing JP and Leyva plus potentially Vargas and Rothrock…. Serious blows to our midfield. Especially for the money those guys were all on, going to be really hard to find equivalent replacements.

Not a huge Sands fan but that feels harsh on him. He can play as a DM or a CB in Poch’s 3-man backline. That versatility is valuable

He’s such a likable guy, so easy to root for. I find it unbelievable how so many (USMNT) fans dislike him or are so quick to point out his smallest mistakes

Well, he’s only played in 16 MLS games this season. That’s almost a third of games lost. I like Pepo a lot but I don’t think this is a remarkable stat

In fairness to Poch, seems likes he’s identified a playing style and formation. The selections indicate this. Additionally, he’s created genuine competition for spots when previously there was none. Choosing to be glass half full here

Unrelated but do you know if the Sounders game on 10/4 will have football lines on the field? Sounders play at 7:30pm and Seahawks on 10/5 at 1:05pm. Hard to see how they avoid it
