An odd, brisk, sometimes uncomfortable, and tender movie with one of Adam Sandler's most engaging performances. I'm not sure if the overall package is one I can say I love, but there's definitely enough here from acting to cinematography to say that I'm still happy I saw it.

I think I do prefer Legends Arceus over Z-A overall, especially in terms of capturing Pokemon and location variety. Despite the shortcomings though, the updated combat, new Megas, and charming cast of characters still make this a great recommendation to Pokemon fans.
