The moments before the final fight are some of my favorites as it really feels like the end of a journey is coming. It really makes the characters feel alive when some of them are talking about how they’re gonna spend tomorrow when they don’t even know if they’re gonna win or not

While ep5 is you being the hero of this unknown world, 6 flips the setting back in a cruel way by having shiva exist and how she constantly makes a mockery of your abilities due to how much stronger the profound darkness is
And this episode is my second favorite in the game

looking back on this episode again, i think what i love about it is how much phantasy star is crammed into it. between friends turning into foes foes turning into friends and the corrupt leaders aspect

My only criticism is that the game has a very small soundtrack to accompany it
The small soundtrack is insanely good though between song of neph and the final map/final boss
i only wish there was more. Also chaos is the goat
i wonder if level 48 on everyone was too much tho, lol

the battlesystem is also quite fun. this game isnt easy but it isnt difficult and it all depends on how much you can break it
By end game enemies cant keep up and i always love that in a game but i think a.g.w.s were for the most part were useless.

it was no brainer i was gonna really like this considering what my favorite franchise is and to me even more than xenogears and xenoblade1/2 this hit that spot even more than those games did for me which is also why i almost 100% the game on first playthrough lol
