Legislators are fundamentally metrics driven cowards. Flood them with enough calls and they will start panicking that theyre backing an unpopular issue

I called my rep (Blue district).
Mentioned the KOSA and the SCREEN act, how it's censorious and even a National Security threat, citing Social Security leaks
He said that they've gotten hundreds of calls about KOSA (nice) but they didn't hear about the SCREEN act since it's "not bi-partisan." 🤔

Gonna work on making Bsky my only active SM platform and deleting X, Reddit, locking down my Facebook (have to keep that for family/VR stuff, sadly), etc.
I have a minimal presence on socials as it is, and I'd rather I stop personally feeding into other platforms I don't like.
