I work in Indiana so I read a lot of local news and public comments. There were a lot of Republican voters against the redistricting and were very vocal about it to their reps.

My youngest bro is a US born Mex-Amer citizen. Chi is one of his fav places to go as we don't live far from it. He has been advised by CPD friend not to visit bc of his brown skin, even tho he is American and even has a 'white boy' name + birth cert for proof.

My American citizen brother who is also Mexican with a beautiful, brown complexion was approached by ICE a few weeks back on a visit to Chicago. He has a 'white male' name that gets questioned often, as well. They are most definitely profiling by skin color and making assumptions.
