Summary:

The streets they drove around were not familiar to him at all. They were just as strange to him as the first time he entered the Jiang family's residence, and the first time he attended their high school. A few residents were out and about this time of day-walking their dog, watering or mowing the lawn, kids playing with frisbees. But for a split second, he felt it. Call it déjà vu, call it a memory-but he imagined a tiny, 3-year old version of himself, sitting on his dad's shoulders, giggling at his mom making a silly face to the both of them, the family of three strolling down the street on a Saturday morning just like this one.
