Over the years, my neighbour planted lots of capers on the walls along the street close to her home. I love the smell and the promise of savory delicious dishes.

With this heat, my writing hours have changed completely. I start much earlier than 9 am which is when I usually sit at my desk. Ah, and my desk has moved too. At least until there's some shade 😅 #writelife #writingcommunity

Ah, this is so funny! I'd say it's fairly accurate, at least for southern Europe and Scandinavia and Dutch/German speakers. Also Poles. As for the French, my experience is that anything that avoids speaking in English is very appreciated so perhaps they should be green too.

Rome is an incredible place. Today we went to a concert inside the Cappella Paolina, inside the Quirinale Palace. The concert was dedicated to Puccini and the arias and piano pieces were all gems.

Fantastic weekend in Geneva where I ran a workshop that paired wine and flash fiction, with three different prompts, one per each wine/story pair. Thanks to all who joined, to the Geneva Writers' Group for inviting me and especially Christine Breede for the support. See you all soon!
