I got the INS,that made sense.
But Policing is a Police job. IF "illegal" immigrants are present, thats a Police job. Let them do it.

What should ring alarm bells is the need to create separate organisations for all this stuff.
Most countries have one Police force, some having two, for diggering levels.
The USA always confused me with Sherifs, Police, State Police etc
And than other things on top

So back to my point. Over here there is never a conflict. A green is never shared, regardless of traffic type.

If its green for cars, what are the pedestrians walking on? Confused there.
My biggest issue is that outside the UK and Ireland a pedestrian green is not absolute. Green and Red never conflict regardless of traffic type.

It would have broken Irish hearts had anything like that happened here. But one also has to balance safety with freedom. You can't guard against everything and the more you try the more closed, controlled and unfree your country becomes... cf the USA..

If America wanted to take jobs back from China, it needed to start 40 years ago, with education.
Ireland started free education in 1960s, by 1990 the product of it was write loud and large here and elsewhere. Thats the payback.
