We experimented with some pit firing last summer. I do this at my parents where there’s plenty of tree and plant debris I can burn. I’m excited to try more once the snow melts.

An absolute shit show. Pause orders for government shutdowns are confusing enough, this one is deliberately poorly phrased to sow fear and chaos. And this funding impacts everything. In my experience pauses like this lead to massive funding cuts. This is not normal.

Currently reading Ahimsa by Supriya Kelkar, with my kid. There’s a lot of themes and concepts you can tie into current events. (Which we are). FMC is 9/10 yo, good middle grade book.
