(It's 4140 through hardened, and my attempts to anneal just that bit have been well intentioned, but pathetic in their outcome)
Just saying if you know of a tool, technique, or trick to address it, I would be all ears.

Just dedicate the 2 hours a day for the next 30 days hand filing it down?

My only previous anvil was a late 19th century PW. So pretty well worn.
All I did with the new one, on accounta the edges were super sharp, was to slightly round about 1.5-2" back from the shelf on the leading edge.
Should I consider doing more?

Have you considered just selling a kidney or a child and just getting a 15-20K Soderfors?
