BUT, the disease is still VERY MUCH with us and a major threat to health. We are still worried about COVID and should be working to help protect folks from it. This is just as crucial as the ramp up but was de-prioritized by politicians.

At RFK Jr’s ascent makes clear, we have failed at convincing Americans (and our own leaders) to prioritize the health of those most vulnerable, leaving many Americans in desperate straits. Not an excuse and we will try to be more clear going forward and advocate for a better CDC post-MAGA.
