Why didn’t schools follow all the IED recommendations? Why didn’t schools of education use those materials in teacher ed? All this research and students are still failing?

Hi- I don’t see it as mastery of a language per se, but verbal fluency is one test used assess cognition. Interesting find -

I realize this is upsetting and supported govt funding of research -but now look for state funding, private funding (way back Dr dean ornish got funding from companies to fund his research)

😥 I lived near a fire burning in the foothills in the north part of SFV near my house in 1968 or 69. Not such a new phenomenon, but truly frightening and awful.
