Many of those currently being forced to flee Gaza City have been displaced 10 times already.

Some people are fleeing with only the clothes on their backs.

This is an assault on a refugee camp.

The offensive on Gaza City must immediately end.

Moussa, 48, fled a brutal attack on his village just weeks ago.
He arrived in Muadi with nothing.
His home was torched, his family scattered, his surgical wound reopened during his escape.
“I fear death,” he told me. “I’d rather die from illness than be killed.”

Here in northern Mozambique, displacement camps are filled with people fleeing from not just one horror, but from several.

Conflict, floods, cyclones.

Here in Muadi, families who fled 4 years ago now live next to new arrivals from last month. No one is going home.

Water is life!

But contaminated water kills.

Here in Shasha, eastern DR Congo, people are glad to return to their ancestral lands.

But they have had to drink from, and wash in, a contaminated river.

NRC has rapidly responded and is working to support the community.

Dhahira is a displaced mother of five. She was able to rebuild her life, starting with a durable shelter and a place to call home again.

“This home is safety and stability for my children,” she says.

We engage with the Taliban government in Kabul & provinces to reach more Afghans in great need, including the millions at risk of deportation from Iran & Pakistan, and for education for girls.

Afghan women do not need more seminars in Western capitals, they need us to engage with decision-makers.

9 hour road-trip, through beautiful Western Afghanistan from Herat to Kandahar through Helmand.
Roads are safe & we can do our work everywhere for girls & women in great need. But, our aid is limited by donors cutting funding & we must succeed in to resume education for girls beyond primary school.

The ceasefire enables NRC to scale up our operations across Gaza.

We call on the parties to the hostilities to continue to honour their commitments to ensure that we can reach the population of Gaza.

We need full humanitarian access.

Din Mohammed and his family fled from war in Faryab, Afghanistan for Iran in 2020, but never got refugee status. Now, with three small children, they are deported back.
"What should we do? Where should we go?".
It is hard to answer. The world has turned its back to the needs of Afghans.

I'm back in Afghanistan where 22 million need humanitarian aid and to where Pakistan has sent back 800.000 and Iran plans to deport 2 million. Here in Herat I met women who had been deported without their husbands back to deep poverty & hopelessness. A crisis ignored by the world

Heartbreaking: These girls in Herat, Afghanistan are denied education beyond primary school and have to weave carpets instead. “I only finished 5th grade, but my dream is still to become a doctor”, one told me. It is an intolerable denial of fundamental human rights.
