Scott has been unwavering in his commitment to building more housing, the YIMBY movement's most important champion in elected office, and we stand with the leader who has stood with us from the beginning. As the YIMBY movement goes nationwide, we can't think of a better champion in Washington.

In his nine years as a State Senator, Scott has worked tirelessly on impactful legislation that has ignited the YIMBY movement nationwide and inspired countless other legislators throughout the country. We have no doubt he can have the same impact in Congress.

"San Francisco needs politicians who are empowered to take big swings on broadly popular and beneficial citywide initiatives like Sunset Dunes. The Engardio recall, regardless of its outcome, is destined to have a chilling effect on bold moves unless broader structural changes are implemented."

Interactive Walking Tour of the Fillmore District with Museum of the Hidden City
Come join SF YIMBY and Northern Neighbors on an interactive, augmented-reality tour of the Fillmore District, called Museum of the Hidden City, to explore the history and legacy of urban renewal and residential segregation in San Francisco. This exhibit was designed to educate on failed housing policies of the past, and the roots of San Francisco's housing crisis. Bring a fully-charged smartphone (works only on iPhone, people can share) and if possible, head phones or ear buds. Download the free app here. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/museum-of-the-hidden-city/id1469153602 Tour should take about 75 mins. Afterwards we will invite folks for a Happy Hour and discussion about what we can do, as housing advocates and concerned citizens, to undo the sins of the past. Saturday August 16, 2025 at 330pm Tour starts at North Side of Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption (Meet on the Geary St. side) 1111 Gough St, San Francisco, California, 94109 More about Museu
