I also love doing this as a CRE. It one of the fastest way to getting folks to that “AH HA!” for experiencing the power of one decent SLO. Bonus points if it also happens with Eng and Product during a service review and folks start getting it how it’s the starting point of several conversations.

Certainly an update on SLOs with all the changes to telemetry and observability over the last 10 years.

More applications of good SLIs, beyond golden signals

Also more advice, lessons learned, and case studies on how to implement SRE practices and cultures and less of “exercise left to the reader”

Here's where I feel SLOs really shine! As the volume on your services jumps up and increases unexpected you can scale only on the necessary services that are providing a sub-par experience for your userbase.
