I’m not making art in a time where things are safe or normal. I’m making art at a time art itself is threatened constantly on every level. In a time where I can see authoritarianism taking over my country. In a time people harass REAL people over CARTOONS.

I know sometimes I shouldn’t, But It’s hard not to bite back about shit when I’m a creator of queer stories in a time where queerness is under attack. I’m the daughter of an immigrant when people are being stolen away. I’m a woman seeing my rights are a constant debate. Maybe I’m just PISSED off.
