That is definitely a very Star Citizen moment. I recall on an early visit to Pyro I crashed into a planet jumping between two OMs. To say nothing of the usual falling through a planted while getting into an elevator.

Warlock. I mean, the patron floats down in a bubble right at the start. Then sets her down a path to see “The Wizard”, who she KNEW couldn’t do anything for Dorothy. But, oops did you kill my rival on the way? Shady.

I’m still running D&D and it’s definitely not my favorite system (by a long shot). I do think its fundamental mechanics are great. But the sub class power creep kills suspense and challenge. And there’s a zeitgeist that if something is in a WoTC product you have to allow it. It’s a boring game.

Think Kenobi was blinded by Jedi dogma. He had absolute faith in Yoda who said “Once you start down the dark path forever will it dominate your destiny.” I think his faith precluded the possibility of him believing Darth Vader could be redeemed. At least, that’s one guy’s opinion.
