Listened to a Toronto radio station call the games as the Blue Jays lost to the Dodgers and colored a couple of bookmarks and a small pattern. No big Halloween outing for me.

Final day for me of the Maui sibling trip to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. It was a water-focused day: a couple of hours of kayaking out of Kihei, then down the coast to swim at Makena State Beach, finally, out to the end of the road at Cape Hanamanioa.

Another day in the Maui sibling trip to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday means another big adventure. Today we headed up to the top of Haleakala and hiked down into the crater and back out. 6.5 miles with 1840 feet of descent and then ascent. Amazing landscapes!!

Maui sibling trip to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday included a serious hike up (and back down) the Waihe’e Ridge Trail. The views were stunning and the climb was breathtaking.

Spending time in Maui with my siblings to celebrate my brother’s 60th birthday. He has a condo 2 minutes from a beach where turtles often come ashore (and leave behind cool patterns in the sand when returning to the water).

Tonight I went to see Mates of State in concert. What a throwback! It was all I hoped it would be. Yay!

Spent time in Pacifica walking along the coast and getting lunch at a local cafe with a friend. It was cloudy when we started and sunny by the end.

I’m back at Grace Cathedral for Evensong for the first time in ages. I was able to walk the indoor labyrinth before the service. What a blessing. Lifting prayers for many.

I couldn’t resist one more Giants home game. It’s an incredible night for it and after a slow start, the team is showing up. I don’t think I’m going to need my jacket tonight! Only in September!

Today I was a group leader for Walk SF’s annual Peak2Peak walk. After getting myself to the start and home from the finish, I blew way past all of my daily goals. I am sitting on the couch for the rest of the evening.

Heading home from a week and a half in the Phoenix area. I am looking forward to my SF weather! While I was here I got up to some good relaxation in preparation for a busy year 2 of my program: puzzles, coloring, lots of reading, hanging with my sister’s kitties, and swimming.
