Say hello to Cecil, the San Francisco Zoo’s new gorilla. The 26-year-old male silverback arrived from the Louisville Zoo in Kentucky in August and has spent the past few months settling in and getting to know the zoo’s resident females.

Cecil will make his official public debut Saturday, Oct. 18.
