Hermitcraft Season 10 wrapped up yesterday and while the paint is still fresh i wanted to draw some fanart for the one and only @joehills.net! i really enjoyed his hijinks this season, and the puppet skin was brilliant. What a great run 💙

"in 2015, almost simultaneous to Undertale's release, i was assigned the date for my top surgery (which i'd been working towards for almost two years). March 2016. Suddenly, it was something that was absolutely going to happen. Top surgery was something i wanted, It was something i needed But... i was scared. My fear and anxiety were running me in circles. i was exhausted and overwhelmed. i kept thinking, "i might die." And then suddenly... Undertale. page two: When i first heard about Undertale... i wasn't really all that into it. i didn't even play it. i watched it on YouTube. i guess i didn't... get it. i saw the Pacifist and Bad Time endings. i liked this guy (Burgerpants). i made one tweet about it. Then i said i was done. Except... i wasn't done. page 3: i couldn't stop thinking about the music. A friend gave me the soundtrack. 'Dating Start' was the first song that stuck with me. i rewatched the scene with Bratty and Catty just to hear the track. i started playing piano again. i hadn't played in years. i taught myself 'It's Raining Somewhere Else.' It was painstaking (i was so rusty) and it took me weeks. But eventually i got it. It was winter in Nova Scotia. My anxiety about my upcoming surgery would get overwhelming, so i'd put on my parka and go for walks in the snow, and listen to 'Reunited' over and over and over again. page 4 (final page): i don't know why i learned so heavily into it. i don't know why it struck me so deeply. But suddenly i got it, and i cared about it. And at a time when i really needed something to hang on to, i had Undertale. My surgery date arrived. Before they administered the anaesthesia i was told to think about something nice (like a nice beach, or a sunny day). i thought something gentle and simple and funny and kind that had already given me so, so, so much. i thought about Undertale. And i was okay. (end)
