Preserving history of talented people is a theme throughout my work. This exhibit Barns have Stories highlights the structures often made without cranes or even nails that have withstood over a century. They are part of the agricultural lifestyle here in Potomac Highlands of West Virginia.

I am completing a collection of textile art honoring the barns and their makers here in Hampshire County, WV. As these century old buildings age we see the skilled timbers joined without nails still holding these structures today.
