Why didn’t other R’s hold out for carve outs for their states?

No it’s not. I wish everyone would stop with the rhetorical BS. We know why. Let’s skip the question and obvious answer and instead counter the right’s incorrect justification that illegal immigrants in rural areas are hard working and illegal immigrants in cities are sponging gang members.

It’s rational though. They have employees who need to get paid and investors who have to be kept happy. To keep both or either, they need to fly under Trump’s radar or better yet, coddle him. Everyone is looking for an exemption to tariffs.

As long as the threat of a primary challenge remains, republicans in congress will remain impotent. The question is how long will republican voters keep electing them.
