Bluesky cropped it weird so I had to add black bars (looks better against a dark bkg anyhow) - i am adjusting to a new schedule after a promotion and now that my routines are finally settling down, I'm figuring out how to fit art back in to my schedule. A little rusty but it feels good to be back.

Every step of this project has been a big risky swing so far, and I love it. Muted the bright pink with oranges browns and purples. The next steps are safer - fewer chances of making mistakes that would set me back. Cutting this one out should be at least a bit easier than the blue layer #wip

Work in progress - this weekend i finished the hardest layer (blue layer of the background) and inked the figures on the pink layer. Should finish shading and coloring the pink layer the next few days and then I need the main background, the botanical foreground pieces and some transparent bits.
